In the summer of 2012, as a result of my activities organising and curating the independent artists book fair Handmade & Bound, I was invited to Vilnius in Lithuania, to speak at LENTYNA (literally translates as ‘bookshelf’) ‘a self-publishing art event focusing on artist-led and self-published books, zines, journals, periodicals and other printed matter’, at the Lithuanian National Gallery in the capital.
The photographs I took whilst there became the source material for another book in the Journeys with my camera series.
